View of Hong Kong harbor from the W Hotel in Kowloon.

Changed hotels this morning. Nice view and scary suite. Three LCD TVs, two iPod stations connected to a Bang and Olafson theatre stereo. Bathroom is as big as my entire room at the Sheraton. Not a bad trade.

Harbour view from Sheraton Kowloon

Finally a clear day in Kowloon ( read HOT and MUGGY).

Ned Kelly's jazz bar in Kowloon

Where else would you expect to find a good jazz bar that when 6 Canadians walk in, the band starts playing David Foster's theme for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics? Why Kowloon of course!!

View from Castros

Nice active street corner. More BMWs and Mercedes than you can count - Chinese newly rich. Across the street you see Ned Kelly's jazz bar... More pix from there coming

Street in Kowloon

This is a typical restaurant row street in Kowloon. Near Ichang street there's a Cuban cigar bar with a view. Very multicultural. The mojitos are a signature drink but I found it tasted like rum, ice and freshly cut grass! No mojitos for me.
